Just a 1-minute walk from the east gate of Asahiyama Zoo, Asahiyama Yuki no Mura Snow Village is the ultimate winter fun, with snowmobiles, skiing, sledding and more. There’s even a restaurant in a ski lodge, where you can enjoy a homestyle menu with cheap dishes made from local ingredients. You can also buy Asahiyama Zoo memorabilia and produce grown in Higashi Asahikawa. A perennial favorite with tour guides!
