Lighting time: 17:00〜23:00(Heiwadori shopping park and Shichijyo Green road light up from 16:30)

200 thousand illuminations that warm up the winter in the North Asahikawa Machiakari illuminations showcase the center of Asahikawa every winter. People enjoy the dramatized lights that perfectly match the five places of the snowy city : Midoribashi Street, Showa Street, Kaimonokoen Shopping Street, Asahibashi and Tokiwa Rotary. Each street creates the romantic atmosphere. Downtown in Asahikawa is colored by one of the most typical sights in winter, and the illuminations brighten up the long winter days.
