Located in a picturesque farming area of Asahikawa, Ueno Farm celebrated its centennial anniversary in 2006. As well as growing rice since it first began, the family have gradually created a 6611.5m2 (7907 square yard) garden. This eye-catching Hokkaido take on an English garden is a must-see for anyone visiting Asahikawa. The garden now has over 900 kinds of seasonal flowers, planted in the style of an English garden but specially designed for Hokkaido’s unique climate.
