Kaguraoka Park is located in the hilly area to the south of JR Asahikawa Station, across the Chubetsu River.The park is full of cherry trees, and the sight of them all in bloom in early to mid-May is truly breathtaking. Kaguraoka Park is one of Asahikawa’s top spots for cherry blossom viewing, with people flocking there throughout the season to enjoy the sight of the beautiful flowers in bloom.
